Roda de Choro

The goal of the Roda de Choro at Barbès is to offer local and visiting musicians the opportunity to play side by side and connect with the essence of Choro. We foster an open and collaborative atmosphere, where each gathering is a living exchange that strengthens and carries forward this musical practice.

The roda is divided into two parts:

  • In the first part, Regional Samaúma leads, presenting the repertoire.

  • In the second part, the space opens for other musicians to join and play together.

The Roda de Choro at Barbès takes place every Sunday, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM, with Regional Samaúma.
